The Original 30" Asia® Teak Shower Bench

Beautifully designed and constructed, and very solid (and heavy). We're very pleased.

This teak bench is extremely solid and has a very sleek design. It is the perfect bench for a spacious shower or bathroom. Looking forward to years of use. Highly recommend!

The teak bench is well-made and beautiful. It fit perfectly in a tight spot on the front porch. My son who makes wood stools said he hopes to inherit it some day! If it's as sturdy and well-made as it looks, he probably can!

Very nice rich looking bench

We were going to have a shower bench made out of teak but when we found out that just the piece of teak needed would cost $345 (before any constuction) we decided to go another route. Found Aqua Teak and couldn't be happier...functional, easy to put together and a timeless design. Only quibble is that our shower floor is white Corian and the bench is leaching a yellow substance. I feel it will stop doing this in time but have to deal with it until then.

Based on some of the images of this bench I was conflicted about ordering it. I am so glad I did. It is sturdy, well constructed and designed, easy to assemble and it adds a touch of class to my new walk-in shower. I usually don't write reviews but am making an exception this time. I love it.

I have this lovely teak bench next to my Zen garden. Here I can admire the waves in the sand in comfort. This is the perfect aesthetic for the room it's in. I love its elegant curves, and the teak wood is smooth and pleasing to the touch. I wish there were a storage space along the bottom, but it's perfectly usable without the storage. I wouldn't dream of putting this bench in my shower.

The quality is great. It comes knocked down and assembles with a little effort. The flat legs are doweled as well as machine screwed in place. The screws are anchored by metal threaded inserts in place on the back sides. The dowels have a zero interference fit so a soft head hammer is needed to seat the positioning dowels before the allen style screws are seated. Wrench is supplied. .All is well made and finished very well. My only issue was when I ordered it I rec'd a UPS tracking no. On follow up using that, the item was likely never shipped. A call was made and they instantly shipped a second one without any hassles. Good customer follow up. Overall I give the item a top score of 5 and customer service a 5. (Stuff happens and they quicley made it right). A very attractive and heavy duty bench with thick teak sections.
